[Notation - This reference to Juan Antonio Garcia de Noriega precedes the baptisms of his children in 1785 by seven years and may be from the time period before his marriage to Josefa Torres. This possibility is strengthened by the marriage of Juan Antonio Garcia and Maria Josefa Torres‘s daughter Maria Gabriela Garcia in the Church of Santa Thomas de Albiquiu in 1816, indicating that they were residents of the region during that time period.--kdd]
