[Notation: In reference to godmother Nicolasa Sanchez, she may be the sister of Juan Antonio Sanches since there was a Nicolasa living in Francisco Sanchez’s household on the 1822 and 1823 census, or she may be a sister of Francisco Sanchez’s since there was an Antonia Nicolasa Sanchez, daughter of Pedro Ygnacio Sanches and Maria Manuela de la Luz Vigil, in Santa Cruz in 1778. The first Nicolasa would be 23 in 1826 and the second Nicolasa would be 48 in 1826. For that reason the first Nicolasa seems like a more likely candidate.--kdd]
